Invasion à domicile: le SPVM met le grapin sur un mineur et un complice majeur en Ontario
Malgré ces arrestations, la police poursuit son enquête afin de localiser deux autres suspects.
Deux hommes âgés de 20 et 17 ans qui faisaient lobjet de mandats darrestation pancanadiens ont été arrêtés mercredi par les autorités à Ajax et Toronto, en Ontario, pour leur possible implication dans une invasion de domicile et dune décharge darme à feu qui date du début de lannée à Montréal.
Christopher Ethan Prince a comparu par visioconférence au palais de justice de Montréal et le mineur de 17 ans a comparu par visioconférence à la Chambre de la jeunesse de la Cour du Québec. Dans le cadre de cette opération, le Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) a eu laide du Service de police de Toronto et le Service de police régional de Durham.
Voici ce qui sest produit dans cette affaire. Le 28 janvier dernier, vers 19h30, un individu se serait présenté à une résidence, située dans le Sud-Ouest, en prétendant effectuer la livraison dun colis.
Selon la police, lorsque les résidents auraient ouvert la porte, il aurait pénétré à lintérieur du domicile avec trois complices. Deux dentre eux auraient été armés darmes à feu.
Durant l’événement, lun des suspects armés aurait tiré un coup de feu, blessant un de ses complices à labdomen et blessant légèrement le résident au bras. Par la suite, ils auraient pris la fuite, abandonnant plusieurs éléments de preuve sur les lieux, a rapporté le SPVM.
Prince et la personne mineure font face à plusieurs chefs daccusation en lien avec ce dossier, notamment introduction par effraction, braquage darme à feu et décharge dune arme à feu avec insouciance.
Les suspects demeurent détenus et seront transférés à Montréal dans les prochains jours pour comparaître en personne, mais le SPVM cherche toujours deux autres suspects, dont un âgé de 16 et visé par un mandat darrestation pancanadien.
