The man, the owner of a well-known restaurant in Cluj, was involved in a light road accident and the police later discovered that he had drunkenly got behind the wheel.

When they reached the car stopped on the side of the road, the agents saw the driver injured, with a severed finger and full of blood. It was tested and resulted in an alcohol level of 0.76 milligrams per liter, pure alcohol in the exhaled air.

“On January 16, around 05.45, in Cluj-Napoca was registered a road event involving a man, 42 years old, under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Respectively 0.76 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air,” the police said.

As it was a slight accident, the police asked him what happened and transported him to the hospital, where the whole story was found. The owner told law enforcement that he was tortured by three masked individuals in a hall on the outskirts of the city. The assault was based on the secret code of access to the cryptocurrency wallet, where, the Cluj claim, it would have about $200,000.
