Until now only cases 357+ (plus a few older ones) had their linked URLs fetched; the other 252 dossiers held just the text pasted into the spreadsheet, often only the lede. This pass fetches every linked URL for those cases so the full text is on file before link rot takes it. - stage_all.py: new --include-sheet-cases flag that lifts the skip on cases holding spreadsheet articles. Resumable as before. - staging/: raw extracts and index.json for the 252 cases. - sourced-articles.json, case-files-manifest.json: 188 new UNTRIMMED blocks. 179 cases gained at least one fetched article; 73 got none (49 BLOCKED, 18 THIN, 9 DEAD, 4 video/social, 3 ERROR). - sources/*.txt: rebuilt with build_cases.py --all. Sheet pastes are kept; fetched blocks sit beside them under the NOT YET TRIMMED banner. Files previously committed with CRLF are now LF. - wayback-availability.json: Wayback snapshots exist for 73 of the 98 failed URL slots; input for an archive-fetch pass. - README-START-HERE.md: progress note and next step. verify_all.py PASSES (1836 checks). In Zaporizhzhia, a miner fought off robbers with a firearm

On April 8 at 8:40 p.m., police station No. 4 of the Polohy district department of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region was informed that gunshots were heard in the yard of a house on Ivan Mazepa Street in Orikhiv. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene.

It was established that three unknown individuals, while in the yard of a local resident born in 1990, sprayed him with pepper spray and attempted to steal mining equipment—specifically a Bitcoin Antminer S9 valued at about 40,000 hryvnias.

All participants in the crime are residents of Dnipropetrovsk region, born in 1991, 1992, and 1993. They were detained according to Article 208 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine.

A criminal case was opened under Article 15 Part 2 (Attempted Crime) and Article 186 Part 2 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The decision is being made to notify the suspects of suspicion and to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention.

8 квітня о 20:40 до відділення поліції № 4 Пологівського районного управління ГУНП в Запорізькій області повідомили, що в Оріхові у дворі будинку по вулиці Івана Мазепи чутно постріли.

Працівники поліції одразу затримали двох чоловіків, а ще один втік на автомобілі «Жигулі». Однак введена в дію операція «Перехват» не залишила йому шансів для втечі.

||
|
||
Особовий склад поліції регіону швидко зорієнтували на розшук зловмисника, надали його прикмети та номерні знаки автомобіля. Невдовзі підозрюваного чоловіка встановили працівники групи реагування патрульної поліції в районі Оріхівського автовокзалу.

||
|
||
Як з'ясувалося пізніше, він змінив номерні знаки на автомобілі, залишив його в лісопосадці, а сам намагався поїхати автобусом.
|
||
|
||
Зараз відомо, що всі учасники правопорушення – мешканці Дніпропетровської області, 1991, 1992 та 1993 років народження. Вони затримані в порядку статті 208 Кримінального процесуального кодексу України.

||
|
||
За даним фактом відкрито кримінальне провадження за п. 2 ст. 15 (Замах на злочин), ч. 2 ст. 186 (Грабіж) Кримінального кодексу України. Вирішується питання повідомлення фігурантам про підозру та обрання запобіжного заходу у вигляді тримання під вартою.
